Joan says that her mission in life is, "To educate as many people as possible to enjoy the pleasure of chocolate." So when she's not developing brand and product concepts, conducting educational seminars for professional chefs and sales forces, or giving state of the industry speeches to top-level industry management types; she participates in chocolate tasting parties for fundraisers, alumni groups, charities and even individuals.
