The Winter NASFT Fancy Food Show is definitely one of my favorite events of the year, — a three-day trendwatching blitztasting hugfest.  

About 22,000 specialty food professionals converge to note, buy, consume, and congratulate 2,000 exhibitors from 81 countries with more than TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND delectable eats.



The show used to be called "The Fancy Food & Confection Show", so clearly, there are more chocolate items than even I can delicately and diligently nibble (if you know me, then you'd know only one of those three descriptors is accurate).  



Nonetheless, I would conservatively wager that I had sampled 1,000 chocolate products by the time the show ended — and I left the show floor wearing one of my client's "Exhibitor" badge (legit. as I had helped develop some of the confections at the booth) and toting another 20 or 30 of the newest chocolate specialties soon to hit retail shelves. I love my life of Chocolate.
